The Association for the Study of African-American Life and History is holding its annual convention in Cincinnati from September 27 to October 1. The theme is "The Crisis in Black Education." This offers an excellent opportunity to meet and learn from the leading scholars studying racism. The schedule for the conference is at https://asalh.org/2017-annual-meeting-and-conference/.

On Thursday, September 28, I'll participate in the Authors' Book Signing at the conference. The signing will be from 6:30 -- 9:30 PM in the Mezzanine Level of the Hilton Netherland Plaza Hotel, 35 W. 5th st., Cincinnati OH 45202. It is free and open to the public.
